It’s been a long time coming, but the new cat yard expansion for the HEB cats is finished! Since our last posting we have added insulation and dry wall to the interior of the shed, along with a heater/air conditioner unit, inside and outside lighting, an overhang, cat door, and interior shelving all around for cat perches.

 

We have also added gutters to the building, special cat fencing (to keep the cats in and intruders out) and a gate, along with planting grass seed (with our ideal Texas spring weather it should be green in no time).

 

We still have a few special cats at HEB to catch and relocate, but honestly, for the first time in a year the end is in sight. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts to the kind donors and volunteers who have made this possible. It would never have happened without you.
